#2. The Hoosiers are seriously missing Jalen Hood-Schifino, barely a top-25 team without him on the floor
Prior to Jalen Hood-Schifino going down with a back injury, Indiana basketball was 7-0 with wins over Xavier on the road and at home against No. 18 North Carolina.
Since Hood-Schifino has been held out, the Hoosiers are 1-2 with a 16-point win over Nebraska at home, but two losses to Rutgers on the road and No. 10 Arizona in Las Vegas.
At times, the offense has looked completely lost and out-of-control with Xavier Johnson taking the lead and Trayce Jackson-Davis seemingly still not 100% healthy. Without Hood-Schifino, my guess is that Indiana would be on the cusp of being a top-25 team, which shows how much value the freshman guard brings to the Hoosiers.
