#2. Jalen Hood-Schifino‘s return comes up big for the Hoosiers and logs 10+ points and 5+ assists

The five-star freshman from Montverde Academy has missed consecutive games, which are his first two games missed of his college career, with back soreness and spasms.

The Hoosiers’ offense has looked decent, much better against Nebraska than Rutgers, but it’s very apparent that without Hood-Schifino running the offense or as the primary ball handler, the rest of the team gets scared in those moments that matter.

In his last two games without Hood-Schifino active, Xavier Johnson has tallied 12 points on 21.1 percent shooting from the field and 14.3 percent from beyond the arc, to go along with eight assists and 13 turnovers. Numbers alone, Johnson is playing out of control and stupid most of the time he’s on the court.

Hopefully, Jalen Hood-Schifino makes his return on Saturday in Las Vegas and makes the impact the Hoosiers have needed with at least 10 points and five assists in 35+ minutes.
