#5. The offense looked a lot more fluid than what we saw vs. Rutgers, even without Jalen Hood-Schifino

On Saturday against Rutgers at the RAC, injured Jalen Hood-Schifino was sorely missed by the Indiana offense and it was clear as day that Xavier Johnson cannot be the primary ball handler and leader of this offense, who finished the game with six turnovers.

Facing Nebraska on Wednesday, the offense looked A LOT different, with the Cornhuskers using a similar approach to what Rutgers used, but Trayce Jackson-Davis and the offense were knocking down shots, cutting to open lanes, and playing like a top-10 team at home.

Missing Hood-Schifino against No. 10 Arizona on Saturday will hurt the Hoosiers and might give them little-to-no chance to win that game, but this offensive explosion and improved demeanor from Indiana basketball were helpful in getting the Hoosiers in the right direction.
