#1. Miller Kopp goes off and carries the Hoosiers as much as he can

It was seemingly written in stone that Miller Kopp would show up for this road matchup against Rutgers after getting his minutes taken away by Trey Galloway in Wednesday’s game against No. 18 North Carolina.

Man, did he show up!

Kopp went for a season-high 21 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field and 5-for-9 from beyond the arc in a season-high 35 minutes played. Kopp was the only Hoosier that was making positive things happen on the floor and was knocking down all of his shots from everywhere on the floor.

To make a point, Kopp was 5-for-9 (55.5 percent) from three-point range and the rest of the Indiana basketball team went 1-for-16 (6.25 percent) from beyond the arc. That’s a recipe for disaster if the Hoosiers want to beat good teams on the road.

Next. IU was hoping to lock up first B1G win of the season. dark
