#2. Jalen Hood-Schifino has officially arrived in Bloomington

Hello, Jalen Hood-Schifino!

In a team-high 36 minutes on Wednesday night, Hood-Schifino recorded a career-high 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, to go along with six rebounds and two assists.

Can anyone question this five-star freshman’s maturity and attitude? I don’t think anything can speed him up or faze him, similar to Romeo Langford in 2019. The difference between those two, Hood-Schifino seems to be a real game-changer whether he’s scoring or not.

Hood-Schifino began the game with the Hoosiers’ first six points and he was very aggressive the entire night. Unfortunately for Jalen, he didn’t see a ton of shots in the second half, when he probably could’ve gotten 20+ points.
