#2. Xavier Johnson, the three-point shooter?

In Friday’s win against Jackson State, Xavier Johnson was all over the floor and recorded 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting and 4-for-8 from deep, along with four assists, two steals, and just one turnover in 24 minutes.

Thus far this season, Xavier Johnson is 8-for-12 from beyond the arc, shooting 66.7 percent from the three-point line. Yes, you read that correctly. 66.7 PERCENT FROM THREE!

Last season, Johnson started out 5-for-9 (55.5 percent) from deep and shot 40.9 percent overall in non-conference games. Unfortunately for the Hoosiers, Johnson shot 36.1 percent from beyond the arc in conference play and struggled from the floor overall, shooting just 37.6 percent for field goals.

It seems like we are getting the new and improved version of Xavier Johnson this season and that could come up huge in this upcoming matchup against North Carolina, which have one of the best guard duos in the country (Caleb Love and R.J. Davis). Can Johnson show up for the big game again?
