#5. Indiana basketball is cool, calm, and collected this season

Let me take you back to 2017-18, the first year Archie Miller took charge of the Indiana basketball program, and the Hoosiers were led by Juwan Morgan, Roberton Johnson, Justin Smith, and Devonte Green. Now, this might bring up terrible memories, but let’s go back to December 18, 2017, a game Indiana hosted IPFW in Assembly Hall.

Some of you may already remember this, but the Hoosiers lost this game 92-72 after leading by just one point at the half. That season, IPFW finished 18-15, fourth in the Summit League.

This game against Little Rock gave me those similar types of vibes.

Luckily, the seniors stepped up and led this depleted roster to a somewhat comfortable win after pulling away in the later stages of the second half. Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers give off vibes of being very calm and collected in pressure situations, which is a huge change of pace from what Indiana basketball fans are used to in recent history. Let’s hope that continues this season.
