#1. Trayce Jackson-Davis is a beast

Hello, Wooden Award Candidate!

Trayce Jackson-Davis showed up in a HUGE way against one of the best frontcourt duos (Jack Nunge and Zach Freemantle) in the country. Neither big man could stop Jackson-Davis and honestly, I’m not sure who in college basketball could have last night.

TJD was making smart decisions out of double teams, made quick moves to counter double teams, and seemingly couldn’t miss any of his drives to the rim. That was one of the most impressive games I’ve seen from Jackson-Davis in his Indiana basketball career.

Jackson-Davis needs to continue to show up on a daily basis and hope that the other Hoosiers like Jalen Hood-Schifino, Race Thompson, and Xavier Johnson can make their presence felt on the chance of off nights for the senior leader.
