Nunge, who’s playing in his fifth college season, has started the season with three straight 15-point games and led Xavier in scoring in their battle against Fairfield on Tuesday with 23 points.

The Hoosier-born forward is playing in his fourth game against Indiana and is averaging just 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and shooting just 40.0 percent from the field. Nunge has yet to notch a win against the Hoosiers in his four career games against them.

In his last four games against ranked opponents, Nunge has averaged 14.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in 35.7 minutes per game. Nunge’s teams are just 1-3 (.250) in those games and lost the only game against a top-15 ranked team (No. 11 Providence in 2021-22).
