Indiana basketball takes the court tonight against Bethune-Cookman at 8:30 PM E.S.T. at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, and yes, you can watch on your TV.
In the season-opening game against Morehead State, the Hoosiers were only able to watch on BTN+, a streaming service offered by the Big Ten Network for all sports pertaining to your school.
Assuming some Indiana basketball fans paid the $10 for the service, you saw the Hoosiers come out and struggle in the first eight minutes of the game then take off from there. Indiana dominated from that point on and defeated the Eagles, 88-53, starting off the 2022-23 season undefeated.
Multiple Indiana players played well in this game, with the star of the game being four-star freshman, Malik Reneau, who finished with 15 points and five rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench.
Along with Reneau, Trayce Jackson-Davis totaled 15 points and seven rebounds and Jordan Geronimo had 10 points in 16 minutes off the bench.
Besides Jackson-Davis, no other starters were able to score in double digits, but you could visually see the importance of Jalen Hood-Schifino on the court, as he finished with seven points and four assists in a team-high 27 minutes.
