#2. Race Thompson knocks down 3 three-pointers and grabs 10+ boards

It’s Thompson’s last season playing college basketball. He opened up his final collegiate season with a less-than-ideal game: nine points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one turnover in 17 minutes.

In those 17 minutes, the 6-foot-8 forward was 4-for-8 from the field and 1-for-3 from deep. Last season, Thompson shot 15-for-55 (27.3 percent) from beyond the arc, but in his two exhibition games in 2022-23, the senior was 3-for-4 from three-point range.

Coach Woodson is imploring his big men to shoot the ball, so look for Thompson to spread the floor and dominate the glass against this Bethune-Cookman team that is primarily populated by smaller guards.
