2021-22 stats w/ Norfolk State: 27 GP, 27.7 MIN, 12.9 PPG, 3.7 REB, 1.3 STL, 39 3PM

Before transferring to Morehead State for his final season of college basketball, Jalen Hawkins played two strong seasons for Norfolk State and one season as a freshman for Robert Morris. As a junior, Hawkins averaged 10.1 points off the bench for the Spartans and helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament in 2021, where they fell to No. 1 Gonzaga in the first round, 98-55.

As a senior at Norfolk State, Hawkins started in 15 of 27 games played and finished second on the team in scoring. He helped lead his team to two straight MEAC Conference titles and two NCAA Tournament berths. Hawkins has the ability to score and with this completely new-look Morehead State team, expect Hawkins to take the lead as their scorer in the first game of the season.
