2021-22 stats w/ Illinois State: 31 GP, 25.0 MIN, 8.8 PPG, 2.6 REB, 3.5 AST, 1.0 STL

Here’s one guy that Woodson and the Hoosiers need to focus on as a potential threat on offense. Freeman spent two seasons with Tennessee State and one season with Illinois State before transfering to Morehead State this season.

As a sophomore at Tennessee State, Freeman averaged 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. He registered eight 20-point games, including a 30-point performance against Morgan State in February 2021.

Last season for Illinois State, Freeman ranked first on the team in assists and turnovers. He had 10 games with four or more turnovers, and if that happens against Indiana, the Eagles will be in big trouble. Looking for new playmakers and scorers, expect Morehead State to ride with Freeman and another transfer as their leading scorers in tonight’s matchup.
