Last game: 54-10 loss @ #2 Ohio State
Next game: Oct. 29 vs. Northwestern

Could things be worse for the Hawkeyes right now? After totaling just six points against Illinois two weeks ago, Iowa comes back and scores 10 total points (six from the defense) in a blowout loss to Ohio State. The Iowa offense had just 158 total yards of offense while giving up 360 yards of offense to C.J. Stroud and the Buckeyes.

The only positive heading into this week for Iowa? They are taking on the worst team in the Big Ten in Northwestern at home. Recent history is not the side of the Hawkeyes, as the Wildcats have won four of the last six matchups and Northwestern has not lost to Iowa when both teams are unranked since 2014. It should be a low-scoring game, and the Hawkeyes should be able to claim their second conference win and get back to .500 on the season.
