I’m sure I’m not the only college football fan that was shocked to see Michigan State put up a fight and come out with a hard-fought victory against Wisconsin last Saturday. The Spartans charged into their bye week with their first conference win of the season and snapping their four-game losing streak, which was all double-digit losses.

Mel Tucker and the Spartans are now traveling to Ann Arbor to spoil College Football Playoff hopes for their arch-rivals, the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan State trails the all-time series 36-56-4, even though they have won 10 of the last 14 games dating back to 2008. The last time an unranked Michigan State team faced a top-five Michigan team, the Spartans fought in the game but fell 32-23 in October 2016. Don’t be shocked if Corum rushes for 200+ yards and the Wolverines win by three or more touchdowns.
