Indiana basketball starts the 2022-23 season in 16 days against Morehead State and we are continuing that countdown with the introduction of the roster. Next on the list is sophomore forward, Hogan Orbaugh.
Hogan Orbaugh | 6’8″ 235lbs | Sophomore Forward
Before coming to Indiana University last season, Orbaugh played two seasons at Louisville. He appeared in seven games, scored three points, and grabbed one rebound. Orbaugh notched his first career points as a sophomore at Louisville and knocked down a three-pointer against Prairie View A&M.
At Zionsville High School in Indiana, Orbaugh averaged just 5.5 rebounds and 3.3 rebounds as a senior and earned himself second team All-HCC honors. Last season, Orbaugh served as an assistant under Director of Athletic Performance, Clif Marshall and dominated the college basketball managers (see below).

The 6-foot-8 big has an opportunity to make an impact in practice and on the bench for Indiana basketball this season. With how talented this roster is from the number one guy through 13, Orbaugh will not see real game action, but has the experience and potential leadership abilities to be important for the Hoosiers in 2022-23.
