2022 stats: 47 total tackles, 28 solo tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss

Leading the Scarlet Knights in total tackles this season and ranking top five in the Big Ten in solo tackles. Against Nebraska on October 7, Jennings had a game-high 12 total tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and a pass defended. It was a defensive showdown two weekends ago and Jennings was at the forefront of Rutgers’ defensive unit.

Jennings has recorded at least 0.5 tackles for loss in five of the six games this season and has registered seven or more total tackles in four of the six games this season. Jennings has come up with big pass deflections in three games this season, including in Week 6 against Nebraska. Without Jennings, this Scarlet Knights’ defense would be nothing close to a top defense in the country.
