Purdue Boilermakers wide-receiver Charles Jones (15) breaks through the Nebraska Cornhuskers defensive-line to score a touchdown during the NCAA football game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Ind. /

Last game: 43-37 win vs. Nebraska
Next game: Oct. 22 @ Wisconsin

Somehow, some way, the Boilermakers continue to win games and rise up the college football boards as a potentially ranked team. Taking down Nebraska in a high-scoring game, Aidan O’Connell threw for 391 yards and four touchdowns, while Devin Mockobee totaled 30 carries for 178 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s matchup against the sub-par Huskers’ defense.

Despite displaying some of the ugliest uniforms in college football history, Purdue continues to win games and rise up the rankings as the 2022 season continues. For now, the Boilermakers turn focus to a road game in Madison against Wisconsin, who’s coming off a tough road loss to Michigan State. We could see Purdue ranked in the top 25 if they win this weekend.
