Big Ten Power Rankings: Indiana football stuck at the bottom after Week 7
Last game: 43-37 loss @ Purdue
Next game: Oct. 29 vs. #18 Illinois
Unfortunately for the Huskers, they caught Purdue while they’re at their best and could not find a way to take down the Boilermakers in a high-scoring affair. Despite Trey Palmer’s career day of seven catches for 237 receiving yards, two touchdowns and one rush for 60 yards, Nebraska’s defense failed the offense.
Now Nebraska has a week off to prepare for the Fighting Illini, which has one of the best defenses in the country and one of the best running backs in the country. While this game will likely not be in the 30’s or 40’s, after an explosive offensive day, the Cornhuskers have a chance to challenge the red-hot Illini next weekend.
