Indiana’s Aaron Steinfeldt (84) celebrates his touchdown during the Indiana versus Maryland football game at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022. /

Last game: 38-33 loss vs. Maryland
Next game: Oct. 22 @ Rutgers

Yet another winnable loss for the Hoosiers this past weekend against the Terrapins. If Indiana football continues to beat themselves in these games, realistically, Tom Allen and the Hoosiers could finish this season 3-9, losing nine straight games after starting 3-0. Indiana has lost four consecutive games after starting a season with three wins, which is the first time doing so since starting the 2015 season 4-0, then losing six straight games.

Now the Hoosiers travel to Piscataway to take on the Scarlet Knights, who are well-rested after a bye week. Definitely wish Indiana football had a bye week this weekend to reset things, but now it’s time to hope for a win on the road at Rutgers, which is another VERY winnable game. If Bazelak doesn’t perform in the first quarter, please put in Dexter Williams II. We need some energy!
