Big Ten Power Rankings: Indiana football stuck at the bottom after Week 7
Last game: 41-17 win vs. #10 Penn State
Next game: Oct. 29 vs. Michigan State
Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards combined for 44 carries for 339 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the rout of Penn State on Saturday. Edwards averaged 10.8 yards per carry and exploded for a 67-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to give Michigan the lead. Still waiting for the time that J.J. McCarthy needs to carry this team to victory, but with a rushing attack and offensive line that Michigan has, it doesn’t seem like they’ll need to rely on McCarthy all too much.
The Wolverines have a week off before taking on the Spartans at home on October 29th. Michigan has not started a season 8-0 since 2016, but holds a record of 17-6 (.739) against Michigan State when the Spartans are unranked and the Wolverines are ranked in the top 10. I believe on good authority that Michigan will go into their game against Illinois on November 19th undefeated at 10-0.
