Last game: 38-33 win @ Indiana
Next game: Oct. 22 vs. Northwestern
The hope for Maryland is that Taulia Tagovailoa wasn’t injured too badly, that he won’t be missing multiple weeks. Before going down against the Hoosiers, Tagovailoa totaled 270 passing yards and three total touchdowns (one rushing TD). The Terrapins came away with a much-needed win and now head back home to take on the worst team in the Big Ten, Northwestern.
With a likely win coming against Northwestern, if Tagovailoa can just miss the one game, he could rest until November 5th, when the Terrapins take on Wisconsin in Madison, then travel to University Park to match up against Penn State on November 12th. Hopefully Tagovailoa isn’t out for the rest of the season, which gives Maryland fans hope that this team can compete for a bowl game.
