#2. Connor Bazelak attempts to match Tagovailoa with 300+ passing yards

Last week, Bazelak totaled just 203 passing yards, one touchdown, and an interception in the loss while dealing with getting sacked seven times and multiple QB hurries by the intense Michigan defense. With the firing of offensive line coach, Darren Hiller, let’s hope for a quick change and improvement from the offensive line led by long-time coach and former IU player, Rod Carey.

Last season against the Terrapins, freshman quarterback, Donaven McCulley (now WR), threw for a career-best 242 passing yards and two touchdowns against the lackluster Terrapins defense. If a now-turned WR can perform against this defense, Bazelak should have the arm talent and capability to keep up with Tagovailoa and their passing attack.

If Bazelak can get some protection from the offensive line, my prediction is that he goes for 300+ passing yards and multiple touchdowns to Cam Camper, and hopefully more targets to his talented running backs in the passing game.
