Big Ten Power Rankings: Indiana football stays put after Week 6
Last game: 31-10 loss vs. #4 Michigan
Next game: Oct. 15 vs. Maryland
Surprisingly enough, Indiana football was tied 10-10 at halftime against the #4 team in the country. If you take away Blake Corum’s 50-yard run on the first drive of the game, the Hoosier defense held him in check with just 10 rushing yards in the first half. Well, like it has been all season, it was a tale of two halves. The Hoosiers punted on their first four possessions of the second half, fumbled on the fifth possession, then turned it over on downs with less than two minutes remaining.
I feel accomplished as an Indiana football fan because of the fact that Michigan struggled against the Hoosiers, they dropped in the AP Polls from #4 to #5. After the game, Tom Allen fired the offensive line coach and now the Hoosiers focus on Taulia Tagovailoa and Maryland coming into Bloomington.
