Last game: 17-7 win vs. Northwestern
Next game: Oct. 15 @ #5 Michigan

I’m sure the Nittany Lions were glued to the TV when Indiana and Michigan were tied 10-10 at halftime last weekend. Of course, Michigan came out on top, but the Hoosiers “did their job” in tiring the Wolverines even a little bit for Penn State going into Week 7.

Penn State has won two of the last three games against Michigan, but has not beaten Michigan when they are ranked in the top five in the AP Polls since 1994. When both Penn State and Michigan are ranked in the top 25, the Nittany Lions are 5-7 (.417). The Wolverines and Nittany Lions have not faced off when both ranked in the top 10 since 1997, where #4 Michigan beat #2 Penn State in that game 34-8.
