#1. Cam Jones – LB

Week 5 stats: 11 total tackles, 6 solo tackles, 1 TFL, 1 forced fumble

Jones biggest play of the game came in the second quarter when he rushed through the middle of the offensive line and took down Casey Thompson and helped force a fumble in the end zone where Myles Jackson recovered it for a touchdown. This was the first score of the game for the Hoosiers and fired up Tom Allen and Indiana football from there.

Tom Allen’s leader of the defense has recorded 10+ tackles in four of the five games this season and leads the Hoosiers in assisted and total tackles. Jones now ranks in the top five in the Big Ten in solo tackles (24 – tied for 3rd), assisted tackles (30 – tied for 4th), and total tackles (54 – 1st). The senior linebacker also ranks in the top 10 in all of college football for total tackles.
