Last game: 49-10 loss @ #3 Ohio State
Next game: Oct. 7 vs. Nebraska

Rutgers football did not even reach 200 total yards of offense against the Buckeyes in Week 5 and are in a major struggle bus as they head home to take on the Cornhuskers. Evan Simon couldn’t reach 75 passing yards and the only highlight of the Scarlet Knights’ offense was the 79 rushing yards on 15 carries by Samuel Brown V.

After this weekends matchup with Nebraska, Rutgers will take on Indiana at home, then take on some of the better teams in the conference with consecutive games against Minnesota and Michigan. It’s hard to say whether the Scarlet Knights can get three more wins to get to a bowl game in a down season.
