Last game: 27-13 win vs. Michigan State
Next game: Oct. 8 vs. Purdue

Taulia Tagovailoa and the Terrapins offense could not be stopped in the first half against the Spartans, with 21 of their 27 points coming in the first half. With 489 total yards of offense, including 175 total rushing yards, Maryland continues to show that they are rising and competing for the Big Ten title this season.

One week removed from challenging the Wolverines, the Terrapins now take on a surging Purdue program at home, then look to take down Indiana, Northwestern, and Wisconsin in the coming weeks. By the time Maryland takes on Penn State in Week 10, they could be looking at an 8-1 record and a potential top 25 ranking.
