Week 5 was here and gone pretty quickly, and Indiana football falls out of the top 10 of the Big Ten Power Rankings after consecutive road losses to Nebraska and Cincinnati.

The top three teams in the conference hold strong after good showings against conference opponents in Week 5 and stay undefeated. Who cracks into the top 4 after an impressive Week 5 victory? How many teams drop out of the top 10? All of these questions are answered!

Biggest Riser: Illinois Fighting Illini ⬆️

Last game: 17-7 loss @ #11 Penn State
Next game: Oct. 8 vs. Wisconsin

Last week, I questioned whether Northwestern football would win another game this season. Surprisingly enough, the Wildcats were toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the nation in Penn State. The game was very ugly with eight combined turnovers between the teams. Ugly enough to make it competitive as the Wildcats were trailing by just one touchdown heading into the fourth quarter.

Of course, Northwestern came up short on the road and maybe there’s a chance for a win in Week 6 as they take on a struggling Badgers squad that just fired their head coach and is coming off a terrible Week 5 performance against the Illini. Will the Wildcats get to two wins this season?
