2. Luke Reimer – #28 – LB

2022 stats: 39 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack

Through four weeks, Reimer is tied for first with Indiana’s Cam Jones in the Big Ten in assisted tackles (25) and tied for second in the Big Ten in total tackles (39). As a sophomore last season, Reimer registered 60 solo tackles (eighth in the Big Ten) and 108 total tackles (fifth in the Big Ten).

Though he didn’t do much as a freshman in his only game against Indiana football, Reimer is a different player and the leader of this Cornhuskers defensive unit. The Hoosiers have a chance to run all over Nebraska, but Reimer could make some noise in the backfield if Bazelak drops back to pass 60+ times again.
