Indiana football vs. Nebraska: Three Huskers to watch for against IU
The Hoosiers are taking on Nebraska in Lincoln on October 1st, and Indiana football needs to focus on these players to help get their first road victory of 2022. The Huskers interim head coach, Mickey Joseph, has a couple key players to focus their offense and defense around as they look to get their season on track.

3. Trey Palmer – #3 – WR
2022 stats: 28 receptions, 323 receiving yards, 1 TD
In four games with Nebraska with Casey Thompson as his quarterback, Trey Palmer has already brought in 28 receptions and 323 receiving yards. With LSU as a junior last season, Palmer didn’t reach 28 receptions, or 300+ receiving yards until the final game of the season, where he had five receptions for 47 yards against Texas A&M.
Palmer is now the playmaker that Nebraska football needs to thrive on the offensive side of things. With a week off, expect Thompson and Palmer to be in-sync and try to get by the embarrassing secondary for the Hoosiers.
