#1. Connor Bazelak, A.K.A. “Unfazed Baze”, answers the call with another 300+ yard passing game

Missouri transfer quarterback, Connor Bazelak, earned himself the nickname “Unfazed Baze” for his performance under the bright lights when it matters most. Bazelak has driven the Hoosiers offense on two game-winning or game-tying drives in Week 1 against Illinois and Week 3 against Western Kentucky. Against the Hilltoppers, Bazelak finished the game 33-for-55 (60.0 pct) and threw for two touchdowns, including the game-tying touchdown and two-point conversion with 47 seconds remaining.

Despite never facing an American Athletic Conference opponent in his career, Bazelak’s experience against strong SEC defenses should give Indiana football fans no pause that he can perform against the talented Bearcats defense. Let’s hope that Bazelak answers the call with 300+ passing yards and carries this Hoosiers offense to hang with Cincinnati in Week 4.
