Indiana football: Three bold predictions against Idaho for Week 2
After an emotional and dramatic win against Illinois is Week 1, Indiana football takes on Idaho in Bloomington on Saturday night. The Hoosiers should have no problem handling the Vandals in their Week 2 matchup, but looking ahead to Week 3 against Western Kentucky is something Tom Allen and the Hoosiers will not be doing.
Bold predictions for Indiana football vs. Idaho
#3. Connor Bazelak throws for 150+ yards and 2 TD’s before an early exit
After earning the starting quarterback job for Indiana football, Connor Bazelak shined in the late stages, driving the Hoosiers 75 yards in just over two minutes to give Indiana a Week 1 win over the Fighting Illini. Though Bazelak only threw for one touchdown, he showed glimpses of his leadership and talent as the leader of this offense, finishing Week 1 with 330 passing yards, including a 52-yard dime to D.J. Matthews Jr. in the second quarter.

My belief is that Bazelak will come out with a lot of confidence and the nerves from Week 1 will shake off as he starts hitting his receivers in stride and throws for 150+ yards and two touchdowns by the end of the first half, then hopefully be relieved by Jack Tuttle and watch the rest of the game from the sideline.
