The quarterback competition has been one of the most exciting and mysterious storylines for Indiana football this offseason, and questions will finally be answered before kickoff with who will be QB1 for the Hoosiers as the 2022 season kicks off. Will it be Connor Bazelak, a transfer QB from Missouri? Can Jack Tuttle show his experience and leadership and win the starting job?

Most likely, Bazelak, who threw for over 2,500 yards last season and finished the 2021 season top five in the SEC in pass completions (246) and pass attempts (377), along with finishing seventh in the conference in completion percentage (65.3%), will be the starting QB for the Hoosiers to open up the 2022 season. Indiana football has not had a reliable and healthy quarterback for a full season since Peyton Ramsey threw for 2,875 yards in 2018.

Expect some of this (below) from Bazelak and the Hoosiers against the Illini in the Week 1 opener.
