2025 highly touted forward out of Atlanta, Bryson Tiller, sat down with Brandon Jenkins from 247Sports and spoke about Indiana basketball and his whole recruiting process. Tiller is expected to be one of the top ranked recruits in the 2025 class and has 5-star talent coming from Overtime Elite while maintaining college eligibility.

Overtime Elite (OTE), for those who don’t know, allows for a different type of path for high school players to learn and develop under already-established coaches and trainers. Tiller decided to commit to OTE along with other projected 5-star players, Jahki Howard, Naas Cunningham, Trey Parker, and Kanaan Carlyle. In a chat with Jenkins from 247Sports, Tiller speaks about his focus as a sophomore this upcoming season and why he chose to move forward with OTE:

"“The development was a big part of the decision. The community was new so I am excited to get it going. I want to see myself and my team develop and win.”"

Though Tiller and college coaches cannot initiate phone calls with each other until June 15, 2023, the power forward currently holds offers from 11 schools; he mentions that he’s had only phone conversations with three schools thus far; Indiana, Georgia Tech, and Xavier. The 6-foot-9 forward did not specify who he spoke with from Indiana basketball, but did have this to say about the program out of Bloomington:

"“It is a great program. They are gritty and they play hard. It is a great environment to play in. I am excited to further my relationship with them.”"

As a rising sophomore, Tiller has a lot of upside to his game as he’s still growing into his body and frame and learning to utilize his length and strength to his advantage. His raw talent as a 6-foot-9 forward is unheard of as a sophomore in high school, and he looks to just be getting started. Tiller played for The Atlanta XPress this summer and showed out in tournaments and showcases, along with getting invites to different Under Armour camps and Team USA U17 training camp. The kid can definitely hoop and is in the early stages of development as he continues to grow in a positive direction. Indiana basketball’s early involvement with the sophomore is a great indication that the Hoosiers will be a top school in his recruitment for the near future.
