515. . . . Ducks . 11. team

N’Faly Dante, 6’11” 230lbs, Senior Center
2021-22 Stats: 8.1 pts/g, 6.3 reb/g, 1.0 blk/g, 24.8 PER

Kel’el Ware, 7’0″ 210lbs, Freshman Center
2022 5-star prospect: #10 ranked nationally, #3 ranked C

Quincy Guerrier, 6’8″ 220lbs, Senior Forward
2021-22 Stats: 10.1 pts/g, 5.3 reb/g, 16.0 PER

The last time the Ducks’ program has been led by its frontcourt was back in 2016-17, when forwards Dillon Brooks, Jordan Bell, and Chris Boucher (all NBA players) brought Oregon to the Final Four and had a 33-6 (.846) record. This may be one of those seasons, especially with Will Richardson returnin. N’Faly Dante, Quincy Guerrier, and Kel’el Ware will be the heads of the dragon that is Ducks’ basketball.

Dante had four double doubles last season and Oregon was 9-3 (.750) when Dante scored 10+ points. Though it was surprising that Guerrier returned for his senior season, Guerrier will bring an improved shooter to Dana Altman’s frontcourt and made 2+ three-pointers in 13 games last season. To add to that, five-star center Kel’el Ware plays like Jaxson Hayes and will only add more scoring and length to an already impressive Ducks’ frontcourt.

Comparing to the Indiana basketball frontcourt

The athleticism of the Ducks’ frontcourt will be tough to handle, especially since that’s not something that the Hoosiers’ frontcourt sees often in the Big Ten. Despite that deficit, TJD, Race Thompson, and Miller Kopp offensive skillset and experience outweigh Oregon’s and even more so if Jackson-Davis and Thompson can add a jump shot to their game this offseason.
