#1A. Indiana Hoosiers

With the likely exit via the NBA Draft and/or graduation from Trayce Jackson-Davis and Race Thompson, the front court will be up for grabs as Mike Woodson looks to replace his best players from 2021-22 and 2022-23. The 6-foot-10 big man has a chance to become the hometown Hoosier hero to replace Jackson-Davis as the best player in Bloomington and join forces with Jordan Geronimo, Tamar Bates, now-freshman, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Malik Reneau, Kaleb Banks, and 2023 four-star commits Jakai Newton and Gabe Cupps.

Booker has a very unique skillset that, if he’s able to develop under strong coaches, could make him one of the best NBA-ready big man prospects to come into Bloomington since D.J. White and Cody Zeller. The Cathedral High School power forward has the size, length, and scoring ability to be a stretch four in the NBA and be one of the best players in the Big Ten for next season. Taking all things into consideration, the Hoosiers and Xavier Booker could be a match made in heaven, one that would continue to build Indiana basketball back to the powerhouse it once was.
