After knocking off Purdue their last time out, the Hoosiers are now 12-0 at home this season and 10-2 against the spread (ATS) including covering in 9 consecutive games. Indiana at home is one of the surest spread bets you can make in all of college basketball and I see that trend continuing today as they host Michigan at 2:30 PM CST. Behind an elite defense and a frenzied crowd, Indiana hounds opponents into difficult shots, resulting in the 5th-best 2-point defense in the country per Bart Torvik. They’re a balanced team and should have renewed confidence on offense after an incredible performance from junior guard Rob Phinisee, whose career-high 20 points and game-winning 3-pointer gives them another guy they can trust in the clutch with Trayce Jackson-Davis.
If there’s a concern with this game, it’s that Indiana is due for a let-down performance after such an emotional win.
