Indiana Football takes on Ohio State Saturday at 12:00 PM ET

Indiana has triumphed over every team they’ve faced thus far, but Saturday holds a challenge like none they’ve experienced this season. The Hoosiers will travel to Colombus, Ohio to take on the Buckeyes, but this season it is with a whole different attitude.

Instead of being a game to fear, fans, coaches, players, and media alike view this game as an opportunity for the Hoosiers, not a stumbling block. Indiana was on the wrong end of a 49-21 onslaught against the Buckeyes this season, but play them as near equals this season.

As we get ready for a top-10 matchup between the Hoosiers and the Buckeyes, we tell you what you need to know about Ohio State.

11/21/2020. 3-0. Ohio State -20.5. 12:00 PM ET. 813. Fox. 812. 4-0

Justin Fields is elite

I probably don’t need to remind you, but Ohio State has arguably the best quarterback in college football in Justin Fields. Fields is an elite thrower, runner, game manager, etc. There is almost no weakness in his game.

Fields have been a man on a mission so far this season. He has completed 86.7% percent of his passes for just over 300 yards per game and 11 touchdowns with no interceptions. He’s simply ridiculous. Fields making his case for why he should be the Heisman winner and the number one pick in the NFL Draft.

Indiana’s secondary has been great this season, but I’m not sure you can stop Fields the way he’s played so far this season. You can only hope to contain him. He’s making his case for why he should be the Heisman winner and the number one pick in the NFL Draft.

Don’t force many turnovers

Ohio State’s defense is talented (radical analysis, I know), and are statistically solid on almost all fronts. One area of weakness, however, comes in the form of takeaways. The Ohio State defense has only forced one interception on the season so far.

Michael Penix Jr. will need to be careful not to add to that total. Ohio State is already tough enough to beat without giving them the ball for no charge.

Roster thick with talent

Again, I get it isn’t Earth-shattering stuff to hear that Ohio State is talented, but there isn’t a lot that people don’t know about Ohio State. Year-in and year-out they are one of the most talented teams in the NCAA. They produce NFL talent like it’s a casual hobby. They have 5 players who will likely be selected in the first or second round of the NFL Draft this season.

Indiana is talented, but not like the Buckeyes. Almost no one is. This may be a cause for panic, but this Hoosier team is different. They will be coming into the game with no fear and fight to make their name known.
