#13 Indiana Football takes on the #23 Michigan Wolverines this Saturday

An exciting first two weeks of the Big Ten season has Indiana football at 2-0 and ranked #13 in the nation. The Hoosiers are tied for first place in the Big Ten East with Ohio State and are hoping to keep it that way as they take on Michigan.

Michigan is, as it seems nearly every season, a tale of two teams. They absolutely dominated Minnesota and appeared to be an elite team, winning 49-24 on the road. Then, they turned around and lost at home to a vastly inferior Michigan State team just a week later.

It is impossible to tell the makeup of this Michigan team two games into the season. They are by no means a bad team, yet there continues to be an invisible barrier between the Wolverines and status as an elite team.

Indiana, meanwhile, is riding high off an upset win against Penn State and a solid victory against Rutgers. Their #13 ranking is the highest they’ve been in the AP Poll since 1987, and Tom Allen has his squad believing they belong at the top of the conference.

However, Michigan should make it hard on the Hoosiers to go 3-0. We preview the matchup ahead of a highly anticipated Saturday.
