Aminu Mohammed

Aminu Mohammed is the other recruit Archie Miller has prioritized aside from Kaufman. The 6’4” guard ranks 14th in the 247Sports Composite rankings and has first-round NBA potential. His blend of defensive ability shot creation, and ball-handling would make him a seamless fit in Miller’s system.

Mohammed’s decision will be heavily influenced by his guardian, Shawn Harmon. They have been extremely secretive with information about where Mohammed is leaning towards going. He is not even cutting his list of potential suitors.

Mohammed will announce his decision in December, so Miller will likely put all his effort into recruiting the guard to Bloomington. Other schools involved with Mohammed include Kansas State, Maryland, and Georgetown.

Mason Miller

Mason Miller plays power forward just like Trey Kaufman and will be a top priority in wake of the Kaufman decision. The son of former NBA player Mike Miller, the Tennessee native is a 6’9” sharpshooter. He is pretty lanky at 180 pounds and would need some time to develop into a consistent threat. However, his shooting ability at that size would give him the chance to contribute immediately.

Next. Indiana Basketball: Three big questions about this year’s Hoosier squad. dark

Many recruiting analysts think that Indiana is currently in the lead for Miller’s services, and I think that bumps up a good bit more after Kaufman’s decision. Creighton is heavily pursuing Miller and Ohio State is also in the running. If I had to bet on it, I’d bet Miller winds up at Indiana.
