If you want to place a bet on Indiana Football, this is the week to do it.

Indiana football is officially back this week, and college football betting is now in full swing. I’m here to help the Hoosier fans bet on their favorite team so you can watch the Hoosiers and win money at the same time. Indiana opens up the season with a home matchup against Penn State as a +6.5 underdog.

Penn State comes into this games missing two key players starting running back Journey Brown and future first-round pick linebacker Micah Parsons. Both losses caused the line to move from 7.5 to 6.5; this hasn’t stopped 74% of bets from being on Penn State to cover. There are plenty of reasons why the public is just flat out wrong on this game.

Penn State is 22-1 all-time vs. Indiana, but the Hoosiers are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games. On top of that, the home team in this matchup has covered seven of the previous nine meetings.

Another number everyone should be looking at is the over is at 59. To me, that’s a no-brainer. As long as the number remains under 60, it’s a lock. Indiana is absolutely on fire with the overs, hitting fives times in their last seven games. Neither team has done live tackling in a very long time, you can bet it’ll be a sloppy day for the defenses.

Overall I think it’ll be a good day for the Hoosiers on the field and for the bettors off the field. The Hoosiers are a veteran team going against a young, unproven Penn State team. Lock the spread in at seven. I would even go as far as to say that you dip a little bit into the money line and buy that bet small. If it the Hoosiers start rolling, you bet a little more.

I’m not some guy who will just tell you good bets to place and not place them. Every bet I recommend I place myself. So let’s make some money together as we watch IU beat Penn State together.

IU Bets to take: total of 4 units

  • IU +7 (1 Unit)
    • Dip a bit into the Moneyline +190 (Live bet .5 units)
  • The lock of the week bet your mortgage on this Penn State vs. Indiana Over 59.0 (1 unit)
    • Only take the over at 59 or lower don’t take it if it rises past 60.
    • In case you wanted some other B1G action Illinois +20 vs Wisconsin is my mortal lock of the week (2 units)
    • Bet Responsibly.
