Indiana Basketball now has three players in the NBA playoffs

And then there were three. Victor Oladipo is no longer going to be on this list going forward after the Miami Heat sent the Indiana Pacers home in four games. Our other Hoosiers, however, are onto the next round or are fighting to get there. Let’s see how everyone did in their game four.

For other recaps, check here.

Juwan Morgan

Morgan saw his role decrease further in game four, playing 11 minutes (down from 22 in game three) in what was perhaps the most entertaining game in the playoffs thus far. Morgan didn’t do much: his only recorded stat was four rebounds. Once again, Morgan finished with a positive plus/minus of 5 and his team won the game.

It will be interesting to see if the rookie’s minutes will continue to decrease or go away altogether. Hopefully he continues to play because it’s sure been fun to watch him play in these big games.

Final Stats: 4 rebounds, +5 +/- — UTA 129, DEN 127

OG Anunoby

Toronto took care of business and closed out the depleted Brooklyn Nets despite Caris Levert’s best efforts. The Raptors’ offense was on full display, putting up 150 points. Anunoby, as per usual, didn’t score a ton, but he did have 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. He now has to prepare to take on Jayson Tatum, a man who has been one of the most unstoppable offensive players in the NBA since the restart. Anunoby will be up to the task, and it will be fascinating to watch.

Final Stats: 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks — TOR 150, BRK 122.

Romeo Langford

The Celtics eked out a four-point win to secure a matchup with the Raptors, who will provide much more resistance than the 76ers did. Romeo Langford’s minutes have been inconsistent, and unlike his former teammate Juwan Morgan, Langford hasn’t been taking advantage of his playing time in the playoffs. He played just four minutes in this game and recorded one rebound.

Since the Raptors are so good, it is unlikely Langford plays very much (if at all) in the second round. He’ll have something to build off of next season.

Final Stats: 4 minutes 1 rebound — BOS 110, PHI 106

Victor Oladipo

Oladipo had a nice game to cap off his series, scoring 25 points, pulling in eight rebounds, dishing five assists and stealing the ball five times. Still, the Heat comfortably won the game and completed the sweep of Indiana’s NBA team.

This could very well be Oladipo’s last game as a Pacer. The free-agent market is very weak this offseason, and Oladipo is one of the best guys available. It is highly likely contenders come calling for his services.

Final Stats: 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals, — IND 87, MIA 99.
