The Indiana basketball team is in on Bryce Hopkins, but he continues to get new offers and the latest one might be the biggest challenge to the Hoosiers.

When Bryce Hopkins picked Louisville, he did so over the Hoosiers. Indiana was high on his list but he went with the Cardinals instead. But recently he de-committed from Louisville and it was thought that the Hoosiers had a good chance to get back in the mix with him.

They had a zoom meeting with him and it seems they have a shot at him, but they are getting competition from other schools.

The good thing about Hopkins changing his mind is that the Hoosiers have another shot at him. The problem is that now he can pick up offers from new schools that may make it tougher. That is what is happening now.

Hopkins has tweeted out that he has received offers from Oregon, Providence, in-state rival Notre Dame, and Big Ten rival Michigan. All of those are good schools and ones that wouldn’t be a surprise if he signed with them. Providence might be the biggest surprise but they have had a good team the last two years, so entirely crazy for him to end up there.

While those are great schools, Hopkins just received an offer that might be the biggest threat to the Hoosiers. That unfortunately is from the hated Wildcats.

With that offer 247sports now has his crystal ball projections to Kentucky. The Hoosiers are still near the top of his list, but it is thought with the offer, the Wildcats now are his top pick.

The only other school that would be such a big threat would be Duke, as his dad has mentioned that has always been one of his top dream schools. But currently, he has no offer from the Blue Devils.

Hopkins would be a great get for the Hoosiers and they are still very much in the mix for the four-star power forward, but is going to be top the Wildcats.

Which conference would be best for IU outside of the B1G?. dark. Next

This would just be another reason for the Hoosiers to hate the Wildcats. Not that they don’t have enough reasons already.
