Indiana Basketball: Hoosiers extend two offers for 2022 class
By Adam Childs
The Indiana basketball team is trying to get a jump on their 2022 class as they offered two guards on Thursday.
Archie Miller and his staff had a busy Thursday as they extended two offers to guards from the 2022 class. The first one was CJ Gunn from Lawrence North High School in Indiana.

Gunn is a 3-star shooting guard who is currently the fifth-ranked player in Indiana according to 247sports. He has good size at 6’5″ and 175 pounds. He has a lot of upside and shot 35% from deep for a Lawrence North team that was stacked and ranked number one in the state of Indiana.
The other offer went out to guard Isaac McKneely from Poca, West Virginia.
McKneely is rated as the top player in the state of West Virginia and 57th in the country according to 247sports.
He is a great shooter and someone who can create his own shot. He is also very good defensively. McKneely is going to be highly recruited and would be a huge get for the Hoosiers. Miller again is trying to get kids that are very athletic and can shoot from anywhere on the court and that is exactly the type of player McKneely is.
It is still very early in recruiting for the 2020 class and a lot can happen, but this would be a good start for the Hoosiers if they can bring these two guys in. Indiana has a good group of guards in right now and this would just reload the cupboard in the coming years.
Keeping Gunn in-state would be big for Miller and then to also pull in talent from another state just would continue to show what he is trying to build in Bloomington. Miller has picked up his recruiting and will look to continue that momentum with the 2020 class.
