#4 Iowa

Iowa has a fairly unique color scheme and they make it work well. Their football uniforms are basically just direct rip-offs of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they still look really good. Plus, if you are going to rip off a jersey, the Steelers are one of the best to go for. They were able to take that iconic and simplistic look and translate it very well to a basketball jersey.

The Hawkeyes’ 2020 black jersey is among the strongest in the Big Ten. It perfectly mimics their football look and should stay the same for quite a while. It’s definitely a step up from their previous iterations, which featured oddly shaped stripes on the shorts which just didn’t work as well. It wasn’t egregious, but there’s something to be said for uniformity (they are called uniforms after all) in design across sports. The old jerseys looked way different from the Hawkeye’s football fit.

Iowa gets a slight knock on their uniforms because their whites don’t hold up when compared to the blacks. They aren’t anywhere near bad but they pale in comparison to the road unis. Still, Iowa boasts some quality jerseys and are well-deserving of the number four spot on the list.
