Indiana Football: Big Ten Predictions

Michigan – Record 8-2

Wins – Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, Maryland, Rutgers, Indiana

Loss – Ohio State, Iowa

Can Michigan finally get over the hump and win the big games. We think they will against Wisconsin and Penn State but won’t get by Ohio State. They need to replace their quarterback but many think they will be better off with either Dylan McCaffrey or Joe Milton leading the way instead of Shea Patterson.

Defensively they should be strong again, but a tough schedule could spell doom for the Wolverines. We think they will be very good this year, but a loss to Ohio State and at Iowa will keep them behind the Buckeyes.

Ohio State – Record 9-1

Wins – Rutgers, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Indiana, Maryland, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota

Loss – Penn State

Ohio State is loaded. They come into the season as easily the best team in the Big Ten. They will be the favorite in all of their games this year and could easily go undefeated. But winning every game is hard for any team, so we think the best chance they have to lose is to Penn State.

Next. 5 teams the Big Ten absolutely needs to not consider adding. dark

The Buckeyes return Justin Fields who outside of Trevor Lawrence at Clemson may be the best quarterback in the country. Fields put up ridiculous numbers last year and there is no reason to think that will be any different this year. They do lose a ton of talent on defense but they are recruiting so well they just reload instead of rebuild. If The Buckeyes don’t win the Big Ten it would be a shock.
