4. Defending the Old Oaken Bucket

Indiana brought the Old Oaken Bucket back to Bloomington last year after a crazy double-overtime win in West Lafayette. In a game that looked to be in control for the Hoosiers, the Boilermakers fought back and thanks to a few lucky bounces about pulled off the upset.

But Peyton Ramsey and company was just too much on that rainy and cold day.

This year the game is back in Bloomington and the Hoosiers will be defending the bucket instead of trying to win it back;

The Boilermakers had a tough year in 2019 after having a lot of expectations after a pretty good 2018 season. But injuries derailed their season and they will be looking to get back on track.

One of the things that will definitely be on their mind is getting revenge on the Hoosiers. This should be a great game and one that rarely disappoints.

Even if the Hoosiers didn’t have such high expectations this year we would still look forward to this game, but now this could have even more meaning to it. Indiana could be looking to try and reach nine or ten wins on the year and what better way to do it then against the Boilermakers.

This should be a fun season for the Hoosiers and one we can’t wait for. We are just 100 days away and it can’t get here soon enough.
