3. Going for upsets at the Horseshoe and Big House

There are currently three teams that have 24 game winning streaks against another team in NCAA football. They are the longest active win streaks in all of college football. One is Texas A&M over TCU, but they haven’t played since 2001.

The other two 24 games winning streaks? Those both have Indiana on the wrong end of them. Michigan and Ohio State have both beat Indiana 24 straight times. The Buckeyes have actually won 25 straight but one win was vacated because of violations.

That doesn’t mean the Hoosiers haven’t come close. Most recently Indiana was beating Michigan at home with four seconds left before the Wolverines through a short touchdown pass on fourth down to tie the game and eventually win in double overtime.

It wasn’t the first time the Hoosier’s have played the Wolverines tough, but they just haven’t been able to breakthrough. The Buckeyes have been tougher, but Indiana has been in games with them in the second half until the defense just couldn’t hold them down anymore.

Look the Hoosiers have a tough go with it by having to travel to both the Big House and Horseshoe this year, but if you want to be the best you must beat the best. What a way to break up the streak than to do it on the road.

We would much rather these games be at home, but bring it on. Take on the big boys on the road and see just how good these Hoosiers are. If you want to get to the top it won’t be easy and we accept the challenge.
