Is Indiana Basketball’s Devonte Green NBA material?

We’ve been talking about Indiana Basketball players and what they need to do in order to make the NBA. Today, we take at the most recent graduate from the program, Devonte Green.

Calling Green an enigma would be an understatement. Anyone who watched Indiana play the past two seasons knows just how polarizing of a player he can be. He can be absolutely dazzling one moment and atrociously combustible the next. It’s not exactly a secret that his chance of getting drafted is very low, but that doesn’t always mean his dream of playing in the NBA can’t be realized.

As much grief as I have given Green over the past four years, he’s an Indiana Hoosier, so of course I want to see him succeed. I’ll be rooting for him every step of the way. Don’t take my criticism in this article as anything more than constructive and know that I’m on his side. That being said, let’s get into Green’s path to the NBA.
